Controlled Demolition exactly describes how G.T. can use its extensive fleet of plant to carry out programs of demolition within confined or restricted spaces. It combines many of the main disciplines of drilling and sawing which allows accurate and controlled demolition of structures. This is in contrast to traditional processes which can’t compete with the efficiency of Diamond Drilling & Sawing techniques. Concrete Bursting is achieved by drilling a series of holes into the structure for demolition. Once the holes have been completed the burster head is inserted. Pressure is applied from the hydraulic power pack via the hoses and the burster creates cracks in the concrete. The process is repeated the whole area will break up ready for removal.

Concrete Crushing as you would imagine is the reverse of bursting. The jaws of the crusher are installed over over the concrete to be removed. The jaws come together and the concrete is crushed. This process is repeated until the whole area is is broken into easily manageable debris. Any reinforcing is then cut away using an angle grinder or cutters. Larger plant like the Top Tec 1850E and Avant multi purpose vehicle can be used for a number of different purposes with an array of versatile attachments.
